How To Make Garlic Oil 蒜头油



4 to 5 cloves of garlic
10 tbsp cooking oil


1.  Remove the skin of the garlic
2.  Chop them into tiny pieces
3.  Use medium flame to heat a wok, add in the cooking oil and heat oil until hot
4.  Reduce the flame and add in the chopped garlic
5.  Fry until the garlic turn light brown in colour
6.  Make sure the garlic is not burnt, otherwise the garlic will taste bitter
7.  Let it cool down
8.  Use as per instructions in my recipes
9.  Any excess garlic oil can be kept in a covered container
10. Keep it in the refrigerator for future use

It's a matter of preference, some people prefer shallot oil while others like garlic oil
