Dinner At Guangzhou 在广州的晚餐( 14th February 2013 )
We had a very late dinner after the Pearl River Cruise. Below are the dishes we had for dinner :
Stir-fried mixed vegetables of corn, green peas, cashew nuts, peanuts and carrot.
Almost the whole plate was left untouched
Boiled chicken - quite tasty. Guangdong is famous for the "pak cham Kai" （白切鸡）
Lotus root soup
Mixed vegetables of celery, peas, lotus root and black fungus
Steamed fish. They used fresh water fish
Stir-fried assorted vegetables
Sweet & sour pork
Rather ordinary fare served for lunch today. I was rather disappointed as I expected Guangzhou Cantonese fare to be better than what was served !
