Sweet & Fragrant Chicken 甜香鸡块


  Sweet & fragrant chicken



3 chicken whole legs ( cut into bite-sized pieces )
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp minced garlic
20g shallot ( minced )
3 chilli padi ( chopped with seeds removed )
1 Chinese rice bowl of oil for deep frying

Sauce Ingredients

1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1/2 tsp dark soy sauce
1 Chinese rice bowl of water  ( add more if necessary )



1.  Mix salt and chicken. Deep-fry until light brown. Dish up and drain away the oil. Set aside
2.  Remove the oil for deep-frying the chicken, leaving only 2 tbsp of the oil in the wok
3.  Saute minced garlic, shallots and chilli padi until fragrant
4.  Add in the chicken and the sauce ingredients and cook until almost dry
5.  Switch off the flame and dish up

It is sweet and hot too!
