Ceylon Tea to Control Purging



Back in 1996, SK and I were scheduled to fly to Beijing for a holiday. It was the first time we were both flying to China or anywhere and we were both excited and looked forward to the trip to visit The Great Wall of China. Two days before the trip, SK had diarrhoea and started purging. He consulted a doctor immediately as our departure date was drawing near. The purging was very intense and it didn't look like it was going away anytime soon. He was in bad shape and told me he couldn't make the trip to Beijing. 

My boss and his secretary came to know about SK's diarrhoea and our impending trip. He recommended that SK tried drinking plain Ceylon tea without adding any sugar or milk. And you know what? It worked like magic and he recovered in the nick of time for the trip.

We were both happily on our way to Beijing the very next day, armed with a small box of Ceylon tea......just in case !! 

Ingredients


1 Ceylon teabag
1cup of boiling water

IMPORTANT NOTE 
Do NOT add any sugar or milk to the tea. Just drink it plain while it is still warm



 1 Ceylon tea bag. Add in boiling water. Let it steep for 2 to 3 minutes

Remove the teabag and drink the tea as it is. 
DO NOT ADD SUGAR OR MILK!
