Steamed Pork Ribs With Fermented Bean Paste 豆酱蒸排骨
Ingredients600g pork ribs
80g fermented bean paste ( taucheo in Hokkien or Min See in Cantonese )
2 ripe tomatoes
6 chili padi
Step-by-step instructions :
Cut the pork ribs into sections of 6 cm. Wash the pork ribs and drain away the water
Top left : Garlic - mince the garlic
Centre : Tomatoes - cut them into slices of 1/2 cm
Bottom left : Chilli padi - slice thinly
Bottom right : fermented bean paste - mince the bean paste
In a large bowl, mix the pork ribs with the minced bean paste, sliced chillies and minced garlic. Mix well.
Place the sliced tomatoes on top the mixed pork ribs
Place the large bowl into a steamer. Make sure there is enough water in the steamer and steam for 30 minutes
It's ready when fragrance emits from the steamed pork ribs.
